Week of April 12 - April 16
This is the last week for the Hybrid schedule.
Hybrid Group A meets in person on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- Asynchronous assignments on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Hybrid Group B meets in person on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Asynchronous assignments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Live instruction is from 8:10-12:00.
Please remember that when your child is not at school, he/she is expected to complete asynchronous work. At least one assignment needs to be submitted by 12:00 in order for your child to be considered as engaged.

This week:
ELA - We are reading The Goat in the Rug by Charles L. Blood and Martin Link. Our phonics focus are on suffixes -y, -ly, -ful and final stable syllables -tion, -ture. Our vocabulary words for this week are: yarn, strands, spinning, dye, weave, sharpening, duplicated, and delicious. Grammar this week is irregular verbs. Our target comprehension skills are: conclusions and sequence of events. Our comprehension strategy is to summarize.
Math - We are continuing to work with problem solving with coins and bills.
Social Studies - We are starting Chapter 6 - Our American Culture. Our lesson this week is Lesson 1 - Culture is our Way of Life.
Mystery Science - Plant Adventures - Plant Adaptations. Lesson 3: Light, Leaves, and Competition - Why do Trees Grow so Tall?
***This week is the last week of the A/B Hybrid Schedule. Next week, beginning Monday, April 19 ALL students will come to school M-F from 8:10-12:00.***
