Welcome to our class's Reading Club page. Find great books that your child will love to read and help our class earn FREE books with every purchase!
The Scholastic Reading Club book flyers were one of my favorite things to receive as a student in elementary school and is now one of my favorite programs as a teacher. Each month or so there will be new catalogs online with some great options of books that you can purchase to keep at home for daily reading with your student.
At scholastic.com/readingclub, you’ll find a wide selection of quality children’s books that are just right for your child’s reading level and interests. (They also have different catalogs that are not the ones linked above including books for older or younger siblings, books in spanish, kids cookbooks… )

August Ordering Incentive
August is the one of the most important time to order books! (At least when it comes to helping our classroom) Normally when you order books we get a point for every dollar you spend. Teachers can then turn in points for free books of our choice for the classroom! Many teachers I have worked with over the years have built their entire classroom libraries from Scholastic book order points. In the month of August though, since it is back to school time, there are a ton of extra incentives, especially if as a class we spend $300. (And with books I am purchasing this month for the room we are already a third of the way there!)
At $300 we get:
- 10,000 extra bonus points!!!!!!
- (Last year our class made it to the 300 mark and I was able to buy over 40 books for my classroom library!)
- 10 Additional Free Books
- $30 to spend immediately to order classroom books
- Plus every kid who orders will receive a reading kit surprise (in the past it has been things like stickers, book marks, book posters, and coupons for free books with future orders)
