Science Fair
Each year HANSEN students have the option to compete in the School Science Fair. Students who qualify for the County Fair will be announced at the Annual HANSEN STEAM Fair. Information is provided by classroom teachers. San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) STEAM Fair awards thousands of dollars to students of San Joaquin County who exhibit superior levels of understanding and articulation in the area of science, engineering, technology, and mathematics.
The vision is to celebrate opportunities in STEAM education that inspire and empower all students to be innovative, creative, and determined Makers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Our mission is to provide equitable opportunities and access to develop and share STEAM Fair projects and explore hands-on STEAM exhibitions and phenomena. Top students with competitive projects proceed to the California State Science and Engineering Fair held each year in Los Angeles (6th - 12th grade).
