Principal's Message

My name is Michelle Baptista and I am excited to be the new Principal of Hansen Elementary School. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 22nd year in education. I am still just as passionate about helping students reach their highest potential as I was the first day I became a teacher. I was a teacher for most of my years in education, and have been an Assistant Principal in Tracy most recently. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education Studies, a Master's Degree in Education, and an Administrative Credential. When I am not at work, my husband and I enjoy traveling and spending time with our four children and love watching them participate in their sports and activities. I am honored to be part of the Hansen family and look forward to working with the dedicated staff, parents, and students, to provide the best possible educational opportunities for all students.
